Fence at woodland exit upper coastal path Fence VoR. at allotments nearing completion

A large portion of the fencing has been completed over Hollerday Hill

The last portion from the upper coastal, shown above, down to the lower path from North Walk still has to be completed. As can be seen from the above photos the fence is of high quality and runs mostly along ruined historical wall.

The major problem is that the route excludes the goats from the wooded areas, which they used for cover in bad weather conditions. The long-term effects need to be monitored.

As the goats are now part of a conservation grazing scheme one would hope that the principles of GAP (Grazing Animals Project) animal welfare would also apply to the goats. Clarification on this still has to be obtained.
